Duties

Analyze and assess the cost of manufacturing processes, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses.
Conduct cost comparisons for different manufacturing methods, materials, and suppliers to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, purchasing, and finance, to gather relevant cost data and validate accuracy.
Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement within the manufacturing operations.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to streamline production processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
Continuously monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, productivity, and quality.
Develop accurate cost estimates for new product designs and modifications, considering materials, labor, equipment, and production processes.
Collaborate with product development teams to provide cost inputs and optimize designs for cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Regularly review and update cost estimation models based on actual production data, market trends, and cost-saving opportunities
Collaborate with production planners to develop efficient and cost-effective production plans.
Ensure production schedules align with cost objectives, customer demands, and delivery deadlines.
Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize production efficiency and meet targets.
Monitor and control production costs to achieve budgeted targets and profitability objectives.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate favorable pricing and terms with suppliers.
Analyze production data and cost reports to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on cost analysis, process optimization, and cost-saving initiatives for management review.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement in cost effectiveness.

Requirements

Required –college degree and above.
Know well about garment or textile relative product usage calculation.
Know well about the process analysis, capacity estimation and time observation
Knowing something about Lean Manufacturing Concepts would be preferred.
Knowing something about industry engineer would be preferred.
Know how to use Micro software and Engineering major background.
Excellent decision-making and follow-through skills
Skilled in scrap and usage, and other cost calculation for new product.
Know well about the production process, especially the sewing industry process.
Ability to communicate with all organizational levels.
Skilled in prioritizing multiple directives within changing work demands.
Skilled in computer software such as Excel, Word, PP and EMAIL
Fluent with both oral and written English
Illustrators and Photo shop users are preferred.
Multi tasks and time management and Skilled in problem solving.

Duties

Create precise patterns for bags, accessories, and sportswear using manual drafting or CAD software.
Adjust patterns after sample approvals to prepare them for bulk production, focusing on fit and functionality.
Identify and correct any fit issues to ensure patterns meet design and form requirements.
Update patterns with client feedback and measurement changes before sharing them with the sample or production teams.
Grade patterns to ensure consistent fit and style across all sizes.
Develop and adjust prototypes to achieve the best fit, style, and function for bags, accessories, and sportswear.
Work with designers and technicians to refine designs and patterns for these products.
Choose materials optimized for bags, accessories, and sportswear, considering stretch, shrinkage, and durability.
Record and report fabric specifications, adjusting patterns as needed.
Ensure patterns are accurate, complete, and meet production standards.
Verify TPK documents with team members to confirm correct fabric consumption and specifications.
Work with designers, technicians, and production teams to resolve any design or fit issues.
Support pattern and sample development, focusing on the specific needs of bags, accessories, and sportswear.

Requirements

A high school diploma or higher is required.
Experience in pattern making is required.
Proficiency in English communication is necessary.
Proficiency in computer drafting software; experience with Opti Tex or other pattern-making tools is an advantage. Knowledge of 3D pattern making, Photoshop, or animation software is also a plus.
Ability to interpret concepts and design models.
Capable of positioning and cutting out sample patterns using scissors and knives or printing out pattern copies using computers.
Openness to learning and flexibility in undertaking various tasks.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and eager to learn new things.
Good team player with strong communication skills.
Experience with measuring, snipping, milling, and cutting tools.
Ability to work under deadlines.
Adaptable to changing project requirements and dynamic environments, ensuring flexibility in approach and solutions.
Perform other tasks as instructed by the manager.

Duties

Independently manage quotation requests and deliver the result within a set time frame.
Independently manage sample requests and deliver the result within a set time frame.
Work with Graphic Designer to prepare requested Tech Pack.
Provide correct information to Graphic Designer to make and update Tech Pack.
Manage the quotation and sample folder to keep the document clear and updated.
Manage the stock of Product Development raw materials.
Assures acquisition of RM in time
Control sample quality.
Conduct lab testing & keep clear records of the test results.
Keep clear records of sample development, such as sample photos, sample information & sample storage.
Liaises closes with relevant departments to produce samples.
Ensures timely delivery of samples and keeps clear records.

Requirements

Good English speaking, reading, and writing.
Good at Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to take responsibility and act accordingly.
Cultural sensitivity.
Willingness to be part of the team and make a continuous effort for improvement.
Knowledge of InDesign & Illustrator will be advantage.
